is what is relevant to the masses at any particular time that will be remembered as something that set a standard or a new way of living. I chose the idea of reality shows as my pop culture artifact. Reality shows have changed the face of television and entertainment. That is what Popular Culture is to me. It is the images, products, attitudes, ideas and spirits that shapes the thoughts and actions of people. Popular culture is what defines how people spend their money. It would be most advantageous for a business manager to understand what is appealing to the population for purposes of advertising, creating, improving or reinvention of ideas and products. Reality shows have done just that for us here in the US and probably the world over. From The Bachelor to The Hollywood Housewives to Million Dollar Hook-Up to the Gator Duck Hunter People, we are looking in on the realities of others lives, and we cannot seem to get enough...reality shows are being produced on a regular basis. I believe this to be a Pop Culture artifact.
